Garofalo Orzo are a rice-shaped pasta also known as risoni and used for pastina (soup dishes). Orzo meaning “barley”, are slightly smaller in size than a pine nut. It is often used in pastina(soup dishes). While it was originally made from barley, orzo today is a hard wheat semolina product.
